21st Birthday Snipits

Thursday, June 13 I celebrated my 21st birthday! It was a nice day that started out with breakfast with my mother at a breakfast place called Cora's, If you live in Canada and are close to one I highly suggest you go. After that, the day was planned to do some shopping, check out Greek Fest that I was lucky enough to receive tickets for and end the day with some of my favourite frozen yogurt from Yeh!

Completely forget to take a picture of all this on!
Mint Lace Skater Dress: Eyeshadow Brand, Found in Winners Coral Blazer: H&M a few years ago Necklace: Picked up at a local Market
AMAZING Chocolate Skor Pizza from Rocky Mountain Chocolate
As it was my birthday, I had to stop into Sephora and pick up my gift which was a benefit duo of their They're Real Mascara and the Whats Up Highlighter. While there I also got the Urban Decay Long Lasting Make Up Setting Spray, the Clinique High Impact Mascara, and some simple oil blotting sheetes, with all of that I was given a sample of Nars Gold Digger Lipgloss.
I also decided to head over to L'Occitiane to pick up their Almond Oil Shower Oil, I used this last nigh...My skin is sooo soft! Love it!!
Last place I went was pick where I picked out a simple black crew neck sweater.

Included: green peppers, roasted potatoes, dolmades, spanakopita, tiropita and Greek salad
At Yeh! Frozen Yogurt, I chose this time to not get my usual cheesecake flavour and try the new Pina Colada with a bit of Mango, I topped that off with a lot of mochi as its my favourite, some peanuts, coconut, strawberries, peaches and a piece of lychee.

Recent Buys No. 2

As mentioned in my last post, you can read here, After the dinner I had with Katee we decided to stop into the mall, and where did I go? H&M obviously, as its the only good store in our mall (currently)
First thing I picked up was this really cute YingYang dress. I love the cut, and I know you can't really tell, but it really is the perfect fit for me. It comes to just above my knees and has buttons all the way down the front.
I pick up this muscle tee type shirt. I have one similar to this that I wear all the time, they are just perfect to those laid back casual days. I love the graphic on this one as well as the distressed look it has on the collar.
As soon as I saw this sweater I needed it. I'm the type of person who always gets cold, so I'm constantly buying sweaters and cardigans..anything to keep warm. This has 3/4 length sleeves, which are -like usual- too long, so I just rolled them up to the perfect length. There subtle pyramid studs along the collar which I love.
So as noticed I am loving  really casual oversized pieces lately. I bought this shirt, which is so big I wore it as a dress the other day. Its definitely not supposed to be a shirt, as I am 5ft. and the shirt came to about mid-thigh,  but with some black tights, heeled boots, and am leather jacket, I really liked the look of it.

Hello Wonderfuls!
The scrunchie has made quite a comeback for Spring/Summer 13, and I am here to bring you a kick from the 80's (or 90's if -like me- thats when you used them).
I personally love them, especially ones with bows! With hair as fine as mine, it's hard to get a messy bun/ponytail look with just a normal elastic. Girls with  thin-straight hair i hope you know what I'm talking about. If not, let me know you secret!!! As I was saying, these not only hold my hair in place, but still let it be loose: allowing me to create that "messy" look i love for casual days.
Even though they are a little bit silly and a little bit scary they will always be fun and practical.
As always; have a wonderful day!
