The Light Behind Your Eyes | OOTD 01.

New camera, New outfit posts?
The weather is still pretty chilly here in Nova Scotia. This is typically what I wear on a daily bases throughout the colder months. For me it's all about layering and keeping warm and comfortable.

Hat: H&M last year | Scarf: Handmade by a family friend for Christmas | Coat: Bargain from Walmart and acts as the perfect layering piece to keep warm and look nice. | Sweater: Forever 21 in the sales | Lipstick: Mac Chili.
I like to keep things very casual in the winter and try and keep as warm a possible. It can get pretty cold out, ever worse when there's wind.

I'm wearing a pair of legging from Fairweather (on sale for $5!) under those I layer a pair of fleece lined leggings, just for extra warmth. Boots: Urban Outfitters last year by Ecote | Bag: Zara "Office City Mini" in Burgundy | Yorkshire Terrier: Oliver

Oliver wanted to say hi!

You move through the room Like breathing was easy

So, last Wednesday afternoon, my lovely best friend Katee and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice day of sushi and shopping. We decided to check out a new local all you can eat place downtown. Let me tell you, it was some of the nicest sushi I've had around here. For $23.99 everything on that menu is yours, above is just a few of my favourites: The crab and Cucumber Roll, Green Dragon Roll, I had the Eel hand roll of the bottom while Katee had the crab, And then there's the best bowl of rice i have ever eaten; Pineapple Fried Rice. There was just something about it that made it so good! Unlike other Sushi restaurants nearby that cost a fortune, I did not leave here still hungry.
After our tummies were all filled up, we were going to get some frozen yogurt, but the weather wouldn't agree to that. So we went to the mall instead. Hopped onto a ridiculously filled bus, and off we went. Didn't do too much there:
What I got: Black High Rise Shorts//Leopard high-low shirt dress//Blue H&M nail polish in Blue my Mind //Coral H&M nail Polish in Check me Out
Needless to say, I had a lovely day, which turn into an equalling pleasant evening. I hope you all did too, What was the best thing you have done in the past week??

Recent Buys No.1

Hello my llittle snow bunnies!
Just a quick little post today, if any of you follow my Instagram you would have seen me post a picture of a new pair of footwear. These are the Ecote Country Boot, and they're just you standard boot really. I've been wearing my healed chelsea boots so far all winter, but now that the weather is starting to get really bad (40+ cm of snow expected over the weekend!) I need something...a little, shall we say safer?? With all the snow and ice on the road, walking around, and going to school in heels (no matter how small) is not the best idea.
So far they are very comfortable, I'm a size 6 US and they do run true to size. Most of all I love the style, they are a bit tough, but also refined enough to wear with a dress, and personally go with my style completely!
Wanna know something else? They're on sale RIGHT NOW at Urban Outfitters

Autumn/Winter Nails!

I'm a HUGE fan of nail polish, I would call it my staple accessory.

This has been a recent obsession, as I never really cared about painting my nail up until a couple years ago. I was a bad nail bitter, and then one day I discovered that if I had a pretty colour on my nail I was reluctant to bite them. And within a couple weeks I had lovely long nails (theres a tip).

With the new season rolling around, I thought I should share some of my current faves for this upcoming autumn and winter:
Left to right: essie's- Chinchilly, sew psyched, very structured, OPI- Deutsch you want me baby?, Essie- penny talk, angora cardi, big spender, OPI-from A to Z-urich, Essie-Fishnet Stockings, OPI-Vampsterdam, William tell me about OPI.

From left to right: same order as above.

What are you favourite colours this season?
Enjoy your days!
